Basic Magnetic Enterprises introduces "Unmanned" as its first LP to bring forth decades of grinding death music with unrelenting fury. Ubahpunk produces 20 minutes of intense music through members who previously performed in Ploughshare and Mental Cavity. Death-grind recording producer Max Napier together with Julian Ingall keep the music's essential grindcore intensity of past 90s but apply contemporary production techniques. Every track within this brutal collection allocates a direct assault on the senses by borrowing musical properties from Dying Fetus and Pig Destroyer despite holding a simultaneously intense atmospheric quality. Through pounding rhythms and dominant guitar riffs "Unmanned" confronts its listeners with awful realities that result in an extreme sonic experience. Beyond being an album “Unmanned” stands as a strong statement from a musical group preparing to create their future success.
