This work of art by SchwertMann titled “Theater Of Grief” is a solo album that really highlights the versatile side of Bart as a singer, songwriter, and musician. This is an album based on feelings and emotions connected with losing someone close and the process of healing from it all inspired by Bart’s life. A combination of progressive rock, heaviness, powerful riffs and melodious tunes makes the album experience extended and engrossing. Bart shows his vocal trumps, especially during recording some of the vocalistic passages, which are unique, powerful and energetic at the same time. Panic Mode and Supernatural for instance, sided with emotional intention and lyrical content, make this album more of a testimony of strength in vulnerability. I conclude that “Theater Of Grief” is any listen that goes way beyond music.
