The first album Abomination by Lynks explores LGBTQ+ PyQtaments and juvenile sexuality in their distinct drag-pop style. The music in Lynks opening track 'Use It Or Lose It' shows the artist won't be shy about what they do. Through its narrated specific and broad lyrics the record shows artistic growth by uncovering vulnerable aspects of the artist's persona. The songs 'Tennis Song' depict romantic crushes that never capture the narrators' hearts yet the titular track risks confrontation with queer community prejudice. Lynks uses her sound to move fluidly between carefree sexual songs and introspective vocalizations therefore altering self-loathing into a positive force. Lynks has achieved a significant sound evolution in their latest work which demonstrates their artistic and underground iconic status progression.
