Kings Of Leon returns with their ninth album 'Can We Please Have Fun' incorporating well-known musical elements alongside newly energized sounds. When they escaped from their longtime record label the group wanted to rediscover the pure joy that drew them to music in the beginning. Mustang delivers the signature raw howling style fans love before Nothing To Do and Hesitation Generation present classic rock sounds. Among its tracks the album contains a few ballads that fall short of reaching their potential. Although it promises entertainment through its musical substance this album fails to deliver the unbridled rock authenticity which first drew in the audience.
