The band's new album 'Can We Please Have Fun' submits a nostalgic return to their essential music identity delivering an appealing vibe to fans. After breaking loose from their extended record deal the Followills worked on creating music which brought authentic enthusiasm. Listenable track 'Mustang' revives the same energy that resonated from their early period. 'TNothing To Do' together with 'Hesitation Generation' deliver powerful performances that evoke the band's intense rock sound. A few of the album's more finished production-based anthems generate less spectacular impact. The album provides entertaining sections but our hearts desperately seek for the same intense musical vein we first encountered.
